Product Design Solutions is a 3D Printing and design company located in Central Florida. PDS offers 2 different 3D Printing process this time with FDM and SLA/DLP with more to come in the future.
SLA/DLP:
This is a resin based 3D printing process which uses UV light to cure a liquid resin. The benefit to this process is the exceptional detail you achieve compared to other processes. With having no build lines on your part the aesthetic nature of the part is pleasing to the eye . Lastly, our printer can maintain tolerances down to .005 on any print making it great for a highly intricate part. The printer we use is the Figure 4 Standalone by 3D Systems.
FDM:
This is the traditional version of 3D printing out in the market today where a spool of filament is loaded and melted being put down one layer at a time which produces the part. Although not as detailed as our SLA/DLP printer the Ultimaker S7 Pro we utilize produces beautiful strong parts. This process is more cost effective and is great for prototyping and making those cool ideas you think about.
